Synfig Studio is free 2D animation software. Synfig is an app similar to Adobe Animate. Synfig supports morphing and cutout animation. Some of the features include tweening, layers and filters, bones, a sound layer, and linking parameters to layers. Animations can be exported to AVI, Theora, and MPEG video formats and to MNG and animated GIF animated graphic formats.
